MANNY MOREIRA is the founder, producer, arranger and composer of THE NEW WORLD CAROLERS. He also performs as musical director, guitarist and vocalist. His stellar guitar playing can be heard nightly on Broadway in the TONY award winning show IN THE HEIGHTS and on the GRAMMY winning cast album of the same name. Other BROADWAY shows include AIDA, BLOOD BROTHERS, THE WHO’S TOMMY ON BROADWAY and SMOKEY JOE’S CAFÉ. Mr. Moreira has performed as guitarist and vocalist with some of the most iconic figures in show business including, OSCAR nominee ANN-MARGRET, EMMY award winner EARTHA KITT and GRAMMY winner HELEN REDDY. He recently shared the stage at LINCOLN CENTER as guitarist for TONY winner PAULO SZOT and for whom he also provided musical arrangements. Some other artists with whom he has performed and or recorded include: RONAN TYNAN, UTE LEMPER and BILLY STRITCH, jazz greats GERRY MULLIGAN, BUCKY PIZZARELLI, PHIL WOODS and RON CARTER, Brazilian superstar GILBERTO GIL and the legendary producer and arranger JOHN SIMON with whom has worked as a conductor and co-producer. His composition CHRISTMAS IN NEW YORK aired nationally Christmas day on CBS. He has done three US NATIONAL TOURS, two in JAPAN, performed through out the CARIBBEAN, appeared in EUROPE and SOUTH AMERICA and in 2003 he was selected by the UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF STATE and the KENNEDY CENTER FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS to tour Africa representing the US as a JAZZ AMBASSADOR |

DENISE SUMMERFORD is a Broadway actress who has starred in such shows as the ROSIE O'DONNELL/BOY GEORGE musical TABOO, THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW LIVE, SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER and GREASE. She has toured with the National Companies of LEADER OF THE PACK, CHESS, COMPANY and THE WHO’S TOMMY. Denise was in the original cast of the Off Broadway '60s musical SHOUT! A dynamic singer, Denise has drawn praise from around the music scene with her ability to move seamlessly from one musical genre to the next; Jazz, folk, rock, and '50s, '60s whatever your musical pleasure. Denise has captivated critics and the public alike in a series of solo concerts in and around NYC and can be heard on various voice-overs and recordings. She has sung with many national and international recording artists including MARY WILSON, BOY GEORGE, SHEENA EASTON, and DEBBIE GIBSON to name a few. Denise currently sings with the legendary LOU CHRISTIE. |

WILSON R. TORRES is a New York native. Wilson’s musical journey took its roots at the age of 2, holding it down on the pots and pans. At the age of 3 he received his first drum, putting his musical journey in forward motion. He received his B.M and M.M in Orchestral Performance from The Manhattan School of Music where he was under the tutalge of Duncan Patton and Chris Lamb. He is a graduate of F.H. LaGuardia High of Music and Art and The Juilliard School Pre-College and M.A.P programs where he studied with Bill Ruyle and David Fein. His formal training began at the age of 12 when he received a scholarship from The New York Pops Orchestra to study with Susan Evans. Wilson’s professional symphonic orchestra debut was with The New Jersey Symphony at the age of 17. He has performed with The San Francisco Symphony, Albany Symphony, New York Philharmonic Outreach Workshops and The San Mateo Ballet to name a few. Wilson was the marimbist of THE LION KING production in San Francisco, Latin percussionist on THE LION KING NATIONAL TOUR, and percussionist on WICKED NATIONAL TOUR (San Francisco). He is currently the Latin Percussionist for the TONY and GRAMMY award winning show IN THE HEIGHTS. |
